NYTT X JILL WALLACE

Whether it be a day of daydreaming while sipping on a glass of wine or catching up on your favorite show, this collection was inspired by silhouettes made for your perfect lounge day.  We are excited to feature Jill Wallace, the lovely fashion blogger from Los Angeles better known as Little Black Boots, to better exude our vision of all days easy like Sunday mornings.

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF, WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU DO

I definitely consider myself a bit of a Southern California nomad that has landed in LA for the past two years. My life revolves around the fashion world. I wear many hats and find myself constantly switching between them all. I style, occasionally model, but mostly identify as a fashion blogger. Aside from that, I am a lover of sugar, shoes, and travel.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN CLOTHING,
WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL

I am not a huge fan of color so I am always looking for clothing that makes itself special in a different way. This usually boils down to fit and cuts that are interesting and figure flattering.  I try to strike a balance between comfort and sexy in a non obvious way. The length of a inseam or the drop of a hemline can make all the difference in the world.

CURRENT SONG STUCK IN YOUR HEAD

Mura Masa- "Firefly"

WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU ROAMING IN LA

I am in downtown a lot. You can find me shooting in the Art’s District quite often.  I also love a cocktail and a view. The Ace is great for that. Sometimes I itch for a little salty air so I brave the freeways and head west to Venice. A stop at Gjelina for a meal is a not suggested- it’s encouraged.

YOUR IDEAL LAZY AFTERNOON
Having Thai food delivered and binge watching Game of Thrones or at Echo Park with a charcuterie plate and glass of rosé in my hand.

GUILTY PLEASURE

White Cheddar Cheez-Its. I need to demonstrate serious self-control to avoid devouring a whole box.
